Our commitment

Jadewave Limited is committed to equal opportunities in recruitment. As an employment agency and employment business we select, submit and place candidates solely on the basis of merit — skills, qualifications, experience and ability to do the job.

What this means in practice

  • We do not discriminate against candidates or workers on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation — the protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.
  • We will not accept discriminatory instructions from clients, and we will refuse a vacancy brief that requires us to discriminate unlawfully.
  • We make reasonable adjustments to our registration and interview process for candidates with disabilities — tell your consultant what you need.
  • Job advertisements we publish are worded to be open to all suitably qualified candidates.
  • All consultants are responsible for applying this policy in every placement decision.

Raising a concern

If you believe you have been treated unfairly in connection with our services, contact us at info@jadewavelimited.com or on 07404 899 825. Concerns are investigated by a director, and we will respond within ten working days. You may also have rights to complain to the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate (part of the Department for Business and Trade), which regulates recruitment agencies.
